Spice World Tour 2019

Spice World Tour 2019

Scary, Sporty, Ginger e Baby. Da “Viva Forever” a “Too much”, passando per “Wannabe” e “Spice up your life”, sino a “Stop” e “Goodbye”, i maggiori successi hanno tenuto banco per oltre due ore di show. Accessori, make up e hair style hanno fatto il resto.

                                                                                                   —–

Scary, Sporty, Ginger and Baby. Over 50 thousand spectators and thousands of colored lights in the Etihad Stadium in Manchester. The Spice Girls, having returned together after more than twenty years, have sold out at every stage of the new “Spice World Tour 2019” tour that sees them as protagonists in the main stadiums in the United Kingdom. The long night of Manchester for me has certainly won a special place among the various stages that the women’s band will end this summer. Password “Girl Power”. Although Victoria Beckham, Posh Spice, is missing, dancers and musicians, together with a spectacular set design, certainly do not make it absent. And then, fireworks, colorful bracelets distributed at the entrance to the public and strictly to the rhythm of music in addition to the inevitable British flag that for Spice has always been a symbol. From “Viva Forever” to “Too much“, passing through “Wannabe” and “Spice up your life“, up to “Stop” and “Goodbye“, the greatest successes have held the bench for over two hours of show. Emma, Melanie B., Geri and Melanie C. are still the same, of course, with a few more years, but with the same enthusiasm as always. Perhaps, indeed, they are even better than they were back in 1994 when they started their career. Starting with the outfits: five dress changes, all rigorously designed for each of them. Created by the designer Gabriella Slade, in a riot of colors and sparkles, they have well expressed the personality of each member of the band. Accessories, make up and hair style did the rest. It is still early to say that the reunion will mark the beginning of a new era, but the hope remains that from now to the coming years there will be new opportunities to see Scary, Sporty, Ginger and Baby together again. And who knows, maybe even Posh might think again.
